Our Hiring Process

  1. Find Your Perfect Fit

    As one of the largest employers in the region, Notre Dame offers a variety of roles across our campus and departments. Explore opportunities that align with your skills and interests in our Career portal.

  2. Apply with Ease

    When you’ve found the right posting, complete and submit an application. Remember to tailor your resume and cover letter (if applicable) to the position.

  3. Track Your Application

    Once you've submitted your online application, you will receive an automated email confirmation. Your resume will then be reviewed by a Talent Acquisition Consultant.

  4. Tell Us About Yourself

    While the interview process may differ depending on the role or team, you may be asked to participate in a:

    • SparkHire Video

      A one-way video interview enables you to conveniently answer text or video-based interview questions on your own time via webcam or the Spark Hire mobile app.

    • Introductory Phone Call

      An initial phone interview lasts about 15-30 minutes and happens once we’ve reviewed your application and think you could be a great fit. It helps us get to know you better—your background, skills, and what you’re looking for in a role at Notre Dame.

    • In-Person Interview

      In-person interviews at Notre Dame offer a chance to connect directly with our hiring team. These sessions may include one-on-one meetings with the hiring manager or panel interviews with team members and key partners. You may be asked to attend multiple sessions. You'll discuss your experience, explore how your skills fit the role, and have an opportunity to ask questions about the position and our culture.

  5. Accept Your Offer

    If you receive an offer from Notre Dame, take time to explore our comprehensive benefits and learn more about our culture. Feel free to reach out to the hiring manager with any questions about the role to ensure it’s the right fit for you.
